After shredding and sterilization, animal waste is mixed with an admixture of suitable organic admixtures such as liquid manure, sewage sludge and the like. a. brought to a mean dry matter content of 8-12% in a mixing container. Then the fermentation takes place with feeding the produced biogas into a CHP for conversion into heat and electrical energy.
