abstract |
A U-shaped air diffusion tube (217) is disposed along the side and bottom surfaces of an electrode (260) and is connected to a pump at one end and a cover (277) at the other end. DOLLAR A A number of holes (271-A) are formed on the underside of the air diffusion tube (271), through which the air diffusion tube (271) releases bubbles when air is supplied to it by the pump. When the electrode (260) is decomposed electrolytically, the air bubbles remove a deposit formed on the surface of the electrode (260). The electrode (260) and the air diffusion tube (271) are fastened to a holder (261). The air diffusion tube (271) can be removed from the pump (256). |
