abstract A coating composition is described which comprises, in an aqueous solvent, a water-dilutable one-component polyester resin, polysiloxane, melamine resin and colored pigment. The invention also relates to a bilayer system in which the lacquer composition is applied to a zinc or zinc alloy layer. A metallic workpiece, which is coated with the double-layer system, and a method for producing this metallic workpiece are also the subject of the invention.
