titleOfInvention Condenser with integrated separation device for a vehicle air conditioning system
abstract The invention relates to a condenser (2) with an integrated separating unit, comprising a core section (23), a header tank (22) and a separating unit (31), which is formed integrally with the header tank (22), for gas-liquid two-phase refrigerants separate into gaseous refrigerant and liquid refrigerant and store the liquid refrigerant therein. An inlet (32), through which refrigerant in the header tank (22) is introduced into the separation unit (31), is arranged at a longitudinal end of the separation unit (31), and an outlet (33), through which refrigerant from the separation unit (31 ) is carried out, is arranged at the other longitudinal end of the separation unit (31). If the condenser (2) is mounted so that it is inclined up to an angle of 45 ° relative to the horizontal direction in the longitudinal direction of the header tank (22) and the separating unit (31), the inlet (32) comes on top of the Outlet (33) to lie. As a result, the gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant is sufficiently separated by the separation unit (31).
