abstract | The invention relates to a transmission belt with a body of a length, an inside, an outside, and sides arranged at a lateral distance from one another. The body has a binding rubber layer, in which stretched load-carrying cords are embedded, which extend in the longitudinal direction of the body. The body includes a first layer on the inside of the bonding rubber layer, in which a plurality of spaced apart ribs are formed extending in the longitudinal direction of the body, and a second layer on the outside of the bonding rubber layer, in which a plurality are formed by ribs arranged at a lateral distance from one another, which extend in the longitudinal direction of the body. The binding rubber layer has a sulfur crosslinked rubber composition containing an ethylene alpha olefin elastomer. At least one of the first and second layers comprises a crosslinked product having an organic peroxide crosslinked rubber composition containing an ethylene alpha olefin elastomer. |
