abstract |
The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a vehicle lamp body comprising the steps of: pressing a heated heating plate against a lamp body which has been cast or molded from a resin composition obtained by mixing 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an antistatic agent to 100 parts by weight of a rubber-reinforced styrene resin, whereby a part of the lamp body is melted, and then adhering the melted part under pressure to a lamp lens to bond the lamp body to the lamp lens. In the manufacture of the vehicle lamp by joining the lamp body to the lamp lens by the hot plate welding method, the invention can reduce the threading of the resin of which the lamp body is made without being affected by seasonal changes in humidity. |
