titleOfInvention PASSIVE IR SMOKE PROTECTION DEVICE
abstract The invention relates to a passive IR room protection device according to the principle of subdividing the detected area of space in a plurality of receiving zones, which guarantees a safe detection of moving IR radiation sources having a temperature difference from the environment in the specified space in small dimensions. The aim of the invention is to provide such an IR-space protection device with low production costs, which optimally uses the incident energy through the entrance pupil energy for signal extraction. It is the task to solve, to realize a new variant for the generation of receiving zones. This is done by providing an entrance pupil on the object side of the focusing optical system and on the image side in the focal plane of a grating for generating the receiving zones in an IR space protection device with a focusing optical system, in the beam path subsequently arranged optoelectronic receiver and a final evaluation in the beam path and Subsequently, the optoelectronic receiver is arranged in the image plane of the entrance pupil.
