titleOfInvention METHOD OF EXTRACTION OF SILVER FROM WAESSRESS SOLUTIONS
abstract The invention relates to the field of chemistry and has the goal of increasing the selectivity and cost-effectiveness in the extraction of silver from aqueous solutions. It is the object of the invention to provide an extractant that allows an extraction of silver from aqueous solutions of different concentration and p H ranges with low extraction agent and solvent losses. According to the invention, the object is achieved by using the extractant * of the general formula where R 1 is aryl, optionally subst. and R2H, acyl, aryl, alkyl, SO2aryl, SO2alkyl, COAmino, optionally subst. are dissolved in a water-immiscible organic solvent. Possible fields of application of the invention are separation, concentration and subsequent recovery of the silver from aqueous process or waste solutions, in particular from acidic solutions which are diluted with regard to the metal content and which may also contain non-ferrous heavy metals, iron metals and other heavy metals. Formula {liquid-liquid extraction; Precious metal extraction; Extraction means; complexing; chelating agents; *}
