titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE ENERGY CONTENT OF FEED AGENTS, IN PARTICULAR GRAESES AND GRASS PRODUCTS |
abstract | The invention relates to a chemical-enzymatic test method for determining the energy content of feed, in particular Graesern and grass products. The content of indigestible carbohydrates as well as indigestible organic substance of feed can be determined. According to the invention, the feeds are subjected to a chemical treatment at elevated temperature before and after treatment with a cellulase complex. The alkaline pretreatment, the enzymatic treatment and the acid aftertreatment of the feedingstuffs are carried out in a one-pot process without intermediate absorption of the treatment solvents.
