ANTIMYCOTIC GEL FORMULATIONS |
abstract |
An antifungal gel formulation effective with 0.2 to 2 * of an antifungal imidazole and 0.01 to 2.5 * of an anti-inflammatory 17-ester esterified corticosteroid is contemplated for topical administration. This composition is highly effective in the treatment of fungal infections and can be stored for long periods of time without cooling, without sacrificing therapeutic efficacy, while maintaining uniformity and stability of the gel. |
