titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF BETA CAMPHOLENE DERIVATIVES
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a wide variety of b-camphor derivatives in a very short way. The aim of the invention is the preparation of new as components of fragrance mixtures suitable b-Campholenverbindungen. The invention has the object, starting from easily accessible camphor oxime by rearrangements to produce compounds with b-camphole structure, which are valuable components for fragrance mixtures. The object is achieved by heating camphoroxime with sulfuric acid until all of the α- and β-camphoronitrile has been rearranged to the β-dihydrocampholactone, which reacts with sulfuric acid and alcohols to form the b-campholene esters or the camphor oxime is equal to sulfuric acid and alcohols the b-Campholensaeureestern is implemented. Equations {camphor; camphor oxime; b-Dihydrocampholenlacton; b-Camp Get compounds; a- and b-campholene acid nitrile}
