titleOfInvention EXTINGUISHING AND INERTISING AGENTS FOR DELETING NON-SELF-ACCIDENTAL CHLORINEILANES
abstract The invention relates to a quenching and inerting agent for quenching nicht selbstentzuendlichen chlorosilanes, which consists of an inert gas and a component added thereto. At least 1% methane, ethane, propane, n-butane, i-butane, n-pentane, i-pentane, n-hexane, i-hexane or mixtures thereof are added to the inert gas as a second component according to the invention. The upper limit of the additives is determined by the fact that the quenching and inerting agent is not combustible at room temperature in air. These additives substantially increase the efficiency of the inert gas so that the extinguishing concentration required to extinguish non-self-inflatable chlorosilanes is markedly reduced {extinguishing agent; inerting; not self-inflating chlorosilanes; trichlorosilane; Loescheffektivitaet; Loesch concentration; Methane; Ethan; Propane; n-butane; i-butane; n-pentane; i-pentane; n-hexane; i-hexane}
