titleOfInvention METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEQUENTIAL MULTICHANNEL SPECTROSCOPY
abstract The invention relates to a method and a device for sequential multichannel spectroscopy. Sequential multichannel spectrometer for measuring the intensity of spectrally dispersible electromagnetic radiation used for the identification of unknown metallic materials, input and quality control and prevention of material confusion in tool and machine factories, vehicle factories, metalworking and foundries, boiler and piping operations, assembly sites, material warehouses, forges and Haertereien, Repair shops and scrap places. The object of the invention is to develop a small portable low-maintenance and easy-to-use spectrometer with high resolution and large detection range, which contains no moving parts and works computer-aided. According to the invention, the object is achieved by bringing the polychromatic radiation of an excited substance (metal surface) to be examined over a plurality of measuring fibers consisting of a plurality of optical waveguide fibers, sequentially computer-controlled electro-optical switches, condensers and an entrance slit system to a dispersing element. The electro-optical switches release successively only one Meszkanal. The spectrally dispersed radiation is recorded meszbereichsweise by an opto-electronic high-resolution transducer (CCD double line) and transmitted to a computer for evaluation. {Multi-channel spectrometer; Spectrometer; spectroscopy; polychromatic radiation; Material analysis; Material identification}
