titleOfInvention DRINK CASTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING A SINGLE PORTION OF A SOIL DRINK
abstract The invention relates to a Getraenkeaufguszvorrichtung for preparing a single portion of a Aufguszgetraenks such as coffee and tea. The device comprises one or more pouches containing an expendable material, which are removably or releasably secured to a rotatable, hand-held shaft, the pouches extending radially outwardly from the shaft and having dimensions such as to be in to fit in a standard drink cup or a customary mug. In use, the device is inserted into a cup of hot water, and the shaft is alternately rotated clockwise and counterclockwise between the user's thumb and forefinger. Upon rotation of the shaft and the bag attached to the shaft, a centrifugal flow pattern is created in the water which increases the efficiency of the extraction of the infusion material. If the bags are permanently attached to the shaft, the entire device is discarded after use. When the bags are releasably secured to the shaft, the bags are released from the shaft after use and discarded while the shaft portion of the device can be reused.
