The invention relates to a process for the removal and / or recovery of class M immunoglobulins from aqueous solutions, in particular from blood plasma or blood serum. According to the invention, the process consists of selectively adsorbing specific plasma proteins, such as immunoglobulin M, onto polymeric adsorbents based on crosslinked acrylonitrile-vinyl acetate copolymers functionalized by reaction with polyalkylene polyamines. As a result, the removal of said substances from the initial aqueous solution is possible. The adsorbed special proteins can be recovered by desorption and optionally purified by standard techniques. The applications of the invention are in the fields of medicine, medical technology and protein preparation. {Adsorbent, selective; Plastic; proteins; Blood; Immunoglobulin M; Preparation; Medical} |
