abstract | The invention relates to an indicator system for determining the prognosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and to methods for use with this indicator system. The invention describes an indicator system for determining the prediction of the prognosis of myocardial infarction. According to the invention, the activity of the isoenzymes of malate dehydrogenase and lactate dehydrogenase or of several total enzyme or isoenzyme determinations is measured in a test set. The isoenzyme activities thus obtained are used in combination evaluated as an indicator system for predicting a prognosis of myocardial infarction. Further technical possibilities of implementation of the provisions of the predictive value predictors of AMI are given.
