titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR SYNTHESIS OF SULFONATES OF 6-HYDROXY-2H-CHROMEN-2-ONE |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of sulfonates of 6-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones, sulfonates of 4,7-disubstituted 6-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones (formula 3) were previously not accessible and can be used as intermediates for the preparation of biologically active preparations. The synthesis is carried out in a process step by reacting sulfonyl chlorides (formula 1) with 4,7-disubstituted 6-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones (formula 2) in a boiling inert solvent such as acetone using an alkali metal carbonate, preferably potassium carbonate. {Method; Synthesis; sulfonates; 4,7-disubstituted 6-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones; sulfonyl; Solvent; Acetone; alkali} |
