titleOfInvention DEVICE FOR PRODUCING TOBACCO-LIKE AEROSOLS
abstract The invention relates to a device for generating tobacco-like aerosols. It is intended to produce a significant amount of aerosol both at the beginning and during the further smoking process, but does not cause significant thermal degradation of the aerosol generating agent and avoids the presence of products of pyrolysis or incomplete combustion. This is accomplished by a carbonaceous fuel element, a physically separate aerosol generating means, including a substrate containing an aerosol generating substance, and wherein the fuel element and the aerosol generating means are disposed in a conductive heat exchange relationship such that the aerosol generating means substantially throughout Time of burning of the fuel element of the conductive heat transfer is exposed.
