abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of virostatically active, diazine-substituted 1-adamantanes. The invention can be used in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in human and veterinary medicine. According to the invention, diazine-substituted 1-adamantanes are prepared by electrochemical reaction of a 1-halo adamantane with a pyrazine, pyrimidine or pyridazine.
