The invention relates to a process for the preparation of hypertensive agents which contain, in addition to active ingredients, usual pharmaceutical carriers or disintegrants and optionally further active ingredient components and auxiliaries. Essential to the invention is the use of active ingredients of microbial biomass, which is obtained by the action of microorganisms, preferably of lipid-containing yeasts on hydrocarbons. According to the invention, the biomass preferably contains a content of rectilinear and odd unsaturated fatty acids having 13 to 21 carbon atoms and double bonds in the D 9 or D 10 position and / or bacterial biomass cultured on methanol or their lipid-containing extracts. As a further active ingredient biologically high-quality protein is used and ubiquinone added to the active ingredients. |
