abstract The invention relates to a production process for graphite suspensions in aqueous alkali water glass solutions for the inner coating of Farbfernsehbildroehren. To eliminate the entrapment of air with the result of quality defects in the coating and the absorption of acidic constituents also by the access of air to the surface, a special process sequence is provided, with which the production process is also more efficient. At first, the solids, such as graphite and oxide, are predispersed with dispersing aids and 60 to 100% of the water to be used. Then the fine dispersion of this mixture takes place in a bead mill. Finally, any missing water and the alkali water glass are stirred into the dispersion.
