abstract The invention relates to a method and a test body for detecting the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and lymphadenopathy using the reaction of the antibodies contained in body and tissue fluids with virus proteins and detection of the complexes thus formed with radioactively labeled antisera. According to the invention, at least two viral proteins or corresponding synthetic peptides having a molecular mass of from 18,000 to 110,000a, which are characteristic of AIDS or its precursors, are brought into contact with a carrier material suitable for protein binding, spatially fixed or fixed on it spatially by dicing, absorbing or spraying. each with a carrier material in contact and so a Traeger-protein (peptide) conjugate is generated, at least two of these carrier protein (peptide) conjugates having an area of 1 to 50 mm 2 are connected to a base material. Field of application is medical diagnostics and medical research.
