abstract The invention relates to agents for the chemotherapy of plant viruses. The aim of the invention is to improve the chemotherapeutic measures against plant viruses. The task is seen in the discovery of new chemical agents that inhibit the replication of plant viruses due to their chemical constitution in conjunction with adjuvants and traeger substances and thus u. a. expand the possibility of reproductive rotation and thus prevent the emergence of refractory virus vesicles. The object is achieved by the use of preparations containing substituted acetophenones of the general formula. Appropriate Spritzbruehen prevent or slow down, applied to virus gefaehrdete plants, the virus multiplication, z. As the proliferation of potato X or tobacco mosaic virus z. T. in considerable extent. Combined application together with 2,4-dioxohexahydro-1,3,5-triazine enhances these effects, e.g. T. seriously. Combined or alternating use of different preparations can prevent the formation of resistance. formula
