titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NETROPSIN SALTS
abstract The invention relates to a process for obtaining slightly water-soluble netropsin salts by microbiological-chemical means. It aims to produce such netropsin salts using readily available raw materials with improved economy. The object associated with this objective is achieved by means of an aerobic submerged fermentation at temperatures of 25C to 30C for a period of 72 hours to 120 hours in the following specified regime: - for fermentation, the new strain of microorganism Streptomyces netropsis 13-8 / 3, deposited under Registrier -No. ZIMET 43 839; culturing is carried out in the stirred tank reactor in an organic nitrogen source medium, with glucose and with selected inorganic salts at p H values between p H 5.5 and p H 8.5; the microbially formed product is isolated as pure netropsin salt by eluting the product bound from the culture solution to a cation exchanger with acid and subsequently with an organic solvent and the resulting eluates are then fed to a filtration or a Fellung. The process according to Netropsin salts produced exhibit antibacterial effects , They are also required in basic research because of their specific binding to DNA.
