titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PHYSIOLOGICALLY IMPROVED GROUND MATERIAL FOR HOLLOW FIBER DIALYSTS
abstract The invention relates to a method for producing a physiologically acceptable potting compound for Hohlfaserdialysatoren. It relates to a process for the preparation of physiologically acceptable polyurethanes which can be used in medical technology, especially for the casting of hollow fiber dialysers used in the treatment of the artificial kidney. According to the invention, the hydroxyl component used is a low molecular weight, higher functional ester of a dicarboxylic acid having at least 6 carbon atoms and glycols having exclusively primary hydroxyl groups and the hydroxyl equivalent weight is set between 100 g and 400 g ester / mol OH and the functionality between 3.0 and 4.0.
