abstract The invention relates to a method for the detection of bacterial and viral neuraminidases. Field of application of the invention is medical diagnostics. The process according to the invention is characterized in that cells are treated with viral or bacterial neuraminidases and the Thomsen-Friedenreich antigen thereby released is detected by means of the monoclonal antibody A63-C / A9. The specific hybridoma cell line was deposited at the Central Institute of Molecular Biology on January 18, 1988 under the number ZIM-0257.
