titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING POTATO BAG
abstract The invention relates to the production of potash from aqueous potassium carbonate solutions by evaporation by a two-stage process. According to the invention, the solution is evaporated in two stages to a total K 2 CO 3 content of about 1400 g / l, the crystals are separated mechanically by means of centrifuges and further processed into potash. The centrifugate is then cooled to temperatures of 45-60C. The resulting crystals are also separated mechanically from the mother solution and further processed into potash. By applying the invention, the proportion of high quality potash grades is increased.
