titleOfInvention DEVICE FOR CONNECTING GLASS TUBES IN LINE SYSTEMS
abstract The invention relates to a device for connecting glass tubes in piping systems for use in the chemical industry, food industry and construction industry and in the water industry. The aim of the invention is to provide an easy-to-install connecting element for the front surfaces smoothly blasted off glass tubes without complex thermal shaping. In this case, the connection point should be releasably sealed and allow a transition to the well-known from the steel pipe screw assembly. This is achieved by an insert tube z. Zt. Of glass, which has at its projecting into the glass tube end a conical extension and on its cylindrical part a fine thread and a standard pipe thread for metal fittings, the fine thread thread is associated with a clamping nut, which encloses a clamping ring, wherein between the clamping ring and the conical end sealing elements are arranged.
