abstract The invention relates to controlled-release Koerner for use in human medicine and veterinary medicine as pharmaceutical preparations and a process for their preparation. The Koerner contain one or more pharmaceutically active compounds applied as a compact layer on a compact non-soluble core material, which in turn are coated with a polymer membrane which controls the release of active ingredient. The Koerner are prepared in such a way that a pharmaceutically active compound dissolved in a solvent is applied to non-soluble core material with a size of 0.1 to 2 mm, the solvent is dried away and thereby obtained, coated with a compact layer of active compound Koerner with a size of 0.2 to 3.0 mm with a drug delivery controlling polymer membrane are coated.
