The invention relates to a process for the production of polyacrylonitrile filaments for further processing into carbon fibers. The aim and task is to find conditions, according to which polyacrylonitrile filaments can be produced with optimized orientation by the wet spinning process in dimethylformamide, which are suitable for further processing into carbon fibers despite kidney-shaped cross-section. The object is achieved by setting a defined sound propagation time Uv of 3,000 to 4,500 m / s by observing precisely defined case and stretching conditions. |
