titleOfInvention MOBILE DECK AREA ON SHIPS
abstract The invention relates to the deck area directly above machinery in low engine rooms on ships. With it, a closed deck to be achieved, at the same time the assembly of machine parts and the transport of the entire machine system possible and encapsulation of the machinery to be ensured. Therefore, the application will preferably be useful on such special vessels on which the economy of the ship commands low engine spaces. According to the invention, the said requirements are met in that a deck area which is vertically adjustable by a deck adjustment device is arranged in the assembly area, into which a moveable mounting device and a transport cross-member are integrated, whereby an all-time closed connection to the surrounding deck exists by means of sealing elements. On the deck area arranged around the machine reaching wall surfaces cause an encapsulation in the engine room which has a positive effect on the impairing influence on the environment. Fig. 5
