abstract | The application of the invention is preferably provided for the determination of the underwater relief in open pit mines. It is based on methods in which the polar coordinates of the depth measurement points are measured by means of a tachymeter in conjunction with a reflector wall, which is located in a boat like the smallest sounding log used for depth measurement. According to the invention, the profiles to be measured are arranged radially in the main wind direction, approached and retarded, the measured depths are transmitted in a time-extended manner to the tachymeter station and output transformed into x, y and z coordinates using the measured distances and angles in the case of a continuous data chain drawn as isobaths. According to the invention, the boat used is double-sleeper, unmanned and remotely controlled and has the time-expanded data output for the continuous transmission of the measured depth values to the receiving station of the tachymeter station. The measured values are processed in a data chain tachymeter - solid state memory - office computer - digital drafting table. |
