The invention relates to a process for the preparation of bis (3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzothiazin-3-one-2-ylidenes) which are of interest as colored pigments in the field of color chemistry. The essential features of the invention are that acceptor-substituted 2-haloanilides of chloroacetic acid are reacted in a sulfuric and tertiary amine solvent. |
