abstract | The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of 2-organo-alkoxysilylphenols, their ethers and esters, which are useful as intermediates for the preparation of biologically active preparations, dyes and polymer excipients. The compounds have the general formula I, wherein R and R are alkyl or aryl radicals, R is hydrogen, an alkyl or aryl radical and E is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, alkylcarboxylic acid ester or an acyl group. The process for the synthesis of these compounds consists in converting 2-haloaroxy-organoalkoxysilanes with sodium or magnesium in inert organic solvents into the organoalkoxysilylphenolates and then treating them with acids, alkyl halides or sulfates, halocarboxylic acid esters, organoelement halides or acid halides of organic and inorganic acids implements. formula |
