titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PREFIXING FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SHAPED CERCHIC FROM CELLULOSE
abstract The invention relates to a method for preconsolidation for the production of shaped bodies of cellulose or modified cellulose with the aim of avoiding a difficult reprocessing of the solvent and an unwanted gelation. The object of the invention is to obtain by a special preconsolidation of a non-derivatized Celluloseloesung mold with high chemical stability and regular shaping, which can be chemically modified for the corresponding field of application. The object is achieved by cooling a cellulose dissolved in aqueous alkali solution to temperatures above freezing point and below 278 K for at least 10 minutes and converting it into the gel state, optionally again heating to 373 K and cooling again. The shaped bodies are suitable as release, sorption and carrier materials, for. B. in biochemistry, medicine, metallurgy and water treatment.
