abstract There are described means for the protection of wood and wood-based materials, which ensure a comprehensive and long-lasting protection of the wood against biological factors, in comparison to known means, however, are only low in toxicity and have no perturbing odor. The compositions contain as active ingredient 0,0-dimethyl-O- (1,2-dibromo-2,2-dichloroethyl) phosphate (Naled), in a concentration of at least 0.2% in aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbons or in mixtures thereof is solved.
