titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING EPOXY-FUNCTIONALIZED POLYDIENES
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of epoxide-functionalized polydienes. For the preparation of epoxide-functionalized polydienes, diene-containing copolymers were converted into reactive epoxide-functionalized hydrocarbon resins by reaction with organic peracids produced in situ from H2O2 and aliphatic carboxylic anhydrides in the presence of a solvent or mixture. The epoxidized products can be used in the known typical applications (adhesive and coating sector, resin synthesis, etc.).
