titleOfInvention | HAERTER FOR BINDER MAGNETIC STORAGE MATERIALS |
abstract | The invention relates to a Haerter, which serves to fix binders for magnetic storage layers and implemented by good compatibility with polymers with these on the web, composites to give high mechanical and thermal stability. The application is given priority in the production of magnetic data carriers. The aim of the invention is the use of a Haerters for reaction with binders or binder components for magnetic memory layers, which are mechanically highly stressable, climate-stable thermally stable, and yield stable composites with the layer carrier. According to the invention, the hardener is an isocyanate mixture which is a phosgenation product of aniline-formaldehyde resins obtained by acid condensation, and the isocyanate mixture is 50 to 65% of an isocyanate mixture having a degree of condensation of 3 to 7 and 35 to 50% of diisocyanate, primarily diphenylmethane diisocyanates and 0, 1 to 2% monoisocyanate contains. |
