abstract The invention relates to a process for the purification and isolation of proteolytic enzymes by affinity chromatography. The technical solution of the invention is that the affine sorbent used is macroporous, spherical, regenerated cellulose with immobilized bacitracin, the concentration of which ranges from 1 to 30 mmol per gram of dry sorbent. The method is suitable for the highest purification of commercially available proteolytic enzymes or proteolytic enzymes obtained by other methods or for the isolation of proteolytic enzymes directly from culture solutions or from extracts of tissue, organs or cells.
