titleOfInvention | HALOGEN LAMP WITH TUNGSTEN FLUOR CIRCULAR PROCESS |
abstract | The inventive composition of the circular process Fuellgasbestandteile is applicable to all halogen lamps, especially those whose wall temperature is not below 550 K during lamp operation. The invention is based on the object of finding compositions of cycle-active filling gas constituents for halogen lamps with tungsten-fluorine cyclic process, which have the advantages of known compositions, without at the same time causing an increased corrosion of the colder regions of the luminous body. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that mixtures of silicon tetrafluoride and covalently bound and / or elemental iodine are used as circular process-active filling gas constituents, wherein a part of the iodine can be replaced by bromine. The SiF 4 partial pressure is between 5 and 2500 Pa, the ratio of fluorine to iodine plus bromine is between 0.5 and 10, and the ratio of iodine to bromine is between 1: 0 and 1: 1. Particularly suitable covalent iodines are AsI3, PI3, P2I4, SbI3 and CNI, as covalent bromides AsBr3, BBr3, PBr3, SiBr4 and (PNBr2) 3, 4. |
