titleOfInvention CYCLIC FERMENTATION PROCEDURE
abstract The invention "cyclic fermentation process" is applicable in the microbiological and pharmaceutical industries for the microbial production of antibiotics and other products. The aim of the invention is to increase the space-time yield and the degree of conversion of such fermentations. The problem to be solved by the invention is to react to changes in the process state in the course of cyclic fermentation in the sense of a state return in such a way that the productivity and the degree of conversion increases and a culture solution which is favorable in its composition for the workup at the end of a every cycle is achieved. The object is achieved by a method in which the leading, product, biomass, substrate and dissolved oxygen concentrations are measured, derived quantities, in particular the productivity, calculated and after determination of the condition the process parameters cycle duration of the current cycle and substitution content and composition of the substitution media the following cycles are changed according to the invention.
