titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR PREPARING COMPOUNDS CONTAINING ISOCYANATE GROUPS |
abstract | The invention relates to catalysts for the polymerization of organic isocyanates to isocyanurate group-containing compounds. The novel catalysts are thermally non-deactivatable phenol-Mannich bases prepared from phenols, formaldehyde and di- or polyamines, the di- or polyamines containing at least one tertiary amino group. These catalysts have a very high activity in the polymerization of isocyanates to isocyanurate polyisocyanates, in the production of polyisocyanurate foam and in the introduction of isocyanurate groups in other polyurethane plastics. |
