abstract The invention relates to a combustible core material for a metal-ceramic composite for the production of dental prostheses from a bridge framework made of a non-precious metal alloy and a multi-layered structure with combustible dental ceramic compositions. The aim and object of the invention are to improve the hydrolytic and chemical resistance, thermal shock resistance and thus the long-term clinical trial and the optical-aesthetic properties. The core composition consists of a homogeneous mixture of 40-50% by weight of a transparent readily flowing wetting agent frit, 30-40% by weight of a sintered opacifier component I with a high content of TiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 and 10-20 % By weight of a sintered opacifier component II, which is a less opaque, crystalline glass melt with high intrinsic strength. A preferred core composition has the following chemical composition: 7.46 wt .-% Na ind 2O, 0.22 wt .-% Li ind 2O, 8.12 wt .-% K ind 2O, 0.36 wt .-% CaO , 1.9% by weight of B 2 O 3, 20.51% by weight of Al 2 O 3, 3.4% by weight of ZrO 2, 22.68% by weight of TiO 2, 35 , 32% by weight of SiO 2.
