abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of acylhydrazones of formyl-substituted benzo crown ethers, which are obtained by reacting carboxylic acid hydrazides with formyl-substituted benzocrown ethers in organic solvents, preferably in the presence of an acidic catalyst. The aim of the invention is to find an easily realizable process for the preparation of the title compounds, which may have significance both as selective cation extractants and as intermediates for the production of plant protection products and pharmaceuticals. |
