abstract The aim of the invention is to produce these hitherto unknown compounds in a simple manner in high purity and yield. The object of the invention to provide a simple, side reactions largely exclusive manufacturing process on the basis of easily accessible, non-schaedigender starting materials is solved by 1- (2-acetylvinyl) -phenols- (2) of the type I with formamides of the type in a single process stage II and acid chlorides or with formamide chlorides of the type III to the NN dialkylimmonium salts of 2-formylmethylene (2H) -1-benzopyrans the type IV are reacted. The compounds according to the invention can be used as reactive intermediates for the production of dyes which absorb in the long-wavelength range of the visible spectrum and are therefore technically versatile.
