titleOfInvention GLASS CRYSTALLINE BIOACTIVE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
abstract Subject of the invention are bioactive glass-ceramics, which can be applied directly and / or as a composite or composite material for prosthetic purposes after the forming process, after the final shaping in the glass industry or after machining. The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantageous properties of Al 2 O 3 in bioactive glass-ceramics, while retaining favorable properties which have hitherto been achieved. The object of the invention is the development of a new CaOP2O5SiO2-type glass-crystalline bioactive material which has the desired properties as a result of the combination of the chemical constituents and the crystal phases which occur, and to provide a production method for this purpose. The material of the present invention contains an apatitic, amphibolic and / or mica type crystal phase as main crystal phases and has a chemical composition (in weight%) of from 5 to 45 CaO, 4 to 34 P2O5, 4 to 24 MgO, 0.5 to 12 F , 5 to 22 MeI 2O and 16 to 68 MeIVO2, wherein MeI is potassium or sodium, and the content of K2O is between 5 and 17 and the content of Na2O is between 0 and 10, and wherein MeIV is silicon or zirconium, and the Content of SiO2 is between 16 and 60 and that of ZrO2 is between 0 and 8. The manufacturing process is described in the description.
