titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PRODUCING FUNCTIONALIZED POLYMERS
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of functionalized polymers containing primary amino groups. The object of the invention is to convert anionic living polymers into polymers which have a high degree of amination, the living polymer having to react with a compound containing a protected amino group and releasing the primary amino groups in the neutral medium. The object is achieved in accordance with the invention by reacting the living polymer solution with the solution of a halo-bis (trimethylsilyl) amide in a polar solvent and hydrolyzing the reaction product with water.
