abstract The invention relates to a method for determining the activated blood coagulation factor X (factor Xa-like activity). The object underlying the invention was achieved by adding the sample to be tested to a test system based on a Factor VIII-deficient plasma and measuring the clotting time. With the help of the invention, the thrombogenic properties of coagulation preparations of the prothrombin complex can be estimated. The invention finds use in the field of human medicine.
