titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR STABILIZING IMMOBILIZED GLUCOSE OXIDASE |
abstract | The object of the invention is to develop a process for the stabilization of immobilized glucose oxidase or of glucose oxidase-containing biocatalysts which causes an increase in the working stability of said catalysts in the production of hydroquinone and gluconic acid. According to the invention, the object is achieved by coimmobilizing a peroxidase, in particular horseradish peroxidase, on or in the same carrier to stabilize it and that the reaction solution contains additives of a peroxidase substrate, in particular of hydroquinone. The method is applicable in biotechnological production, in particular in the production of gluconic acid from glucose and the production of quinone hydroquinone. |
