titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR STABILIZING ACETONE CYANHYDRIN |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the stabilization of acetone cyanohydrin with the aim of avoiding salt deposits in the process management and the consequent additional technological effort. It has been found that arylsulfonic acids having a content of 0.005 to 0.1% by weight in acetone cyanohydrin are metered into the column inlet of an acetone cyanohydride distillation column in order to secure the required acetone cyanohydrin stability. The process can be implemented without additional investment in each existing or new investment. |
